Pacific Heights - Sunset Bar & Lounge

We conceptualized this proposal for the 2025 San Francisco Designers Showcase (Studio Alexander proposal for concept only)

Inspired by the way the space transforms with changing light, the Sunset Bar evokes the colors and energy of a perfect sunset—robin’s egg blue, ochre, purple, copper, and charcoal. As the evening light filters through dichroic glass panels and reflects off the walls, the room takes on an almost otherworldly glow, evoking nostalgia for a time when San Francisco was a hub of creativity and nightlife. The space evolves throughout the day, serving as a creative space for work or relaxation before shifting into an energized, chic lounge by night. The bar becomes a central space for entertaining, drawing guests from the outdoor sunset views into a past - meets future lounge, that marries old San Francisco details with a modernist approach.
