Blurring the lines between a vintage gymnasium and a modern diner, this project redefines the community gathering spot. Inspired by LGBT history and culture, our design embraces a "retro-rec" aesthetic, utilizing acoustic rubber flooring and raw plywood paneling to evoke a sense of nostalgic utility. Contrasted against sleek terrazzo countertops and moody lighting, the result is a texture-rich, eclectic sanctuary perfect for enjoying custom sandwiches and craft pours.
