Cape Cod Bungalow

For our first East Coast project, we wanted to bring a little bit of the California sunshine & atmosphere. Our clients are residents of the Bay Area and purchased a new home on the Cape. With deep ties to the area, they want to infuse character, charm and warmth into a 1940’s bungalow near the beach. We approached the concept with reimagining the white interiors, into an earthy & clean palette of blues, greens, mustard & creams. An existing kitchen that lacked function and an oddly laid out living room - needed to be re-worked, to better serve the new owners. Organic forms, soft materials and a statement stone will add layers of charm, without taking away from the real beauty - right outside.
